案例一 如何把握时间?
研究生毕业的小刘很健谈，口才甚佳，对自我介绍，他自认为不在话下，所以他从来不准备，看什么人说什么话。他的求职目标是地产策划，有一次，应聘本地一家大型房地产公司，在自我介绍时，他大谈起了房地产行业的走向，由于跑题太远，面试官不得不把话题收回来。自我介绍也只能"半途而止"。

有的“缺点”并不是缺点，而是一般意义的误会造成的，这时，你应及时澄清，缩短与对方心理上造成的差距。一个 求职 者出身于高干家庭，他到一个普通公司去 面试 ，在介绍自己时说：“我的父亲虽然是高干，但他对我的要求很严格，洗衣服等活，从来不让保姆给我做，由于我是在这种环境中长大的，独立意识和独立精神很强，从不依赖父亲的职权，所以，到你们公司，无论什么苦，我都能吃??”这位 求职 者抓住出身高干容易引起人们产生不能吃苦的误会的关键点，从谈自己的父亲如何对自己的严格要求入手，谈到自己对家庭出身的看法和对生活所采取的态度，以至让对方了解自己吃过苦，能吃苦的品质，这样一来，就缩小了与用人单位的距离。
有的考官常常对那些表现令人满意的考生提出令人尴尬的问题：“从事某项工作你有什么主要缺点或不足？”有的考生连连摇头，回答说没有，甚至有人反问：“您说呢？您给我指出来好吗？”等等，而有的人却非常聪明，他们既不掩饰回避也非直截了当，而是联系大学生的共同弱点（缺乏实践经验、社会阅历较浅等），结合本专业的发展趋势（知识结构不甚合理、专业知识不足以应对新的挑战等）及个性中的缺憾（如过分追求完美，可能开拓精神不够，或过于追求工作效率，小心谨慎不足等等），讲讲自己正在克服和能够改正的弱点，谈理想与现实中的差距，讲那些表面是缺点但对某项工作有益的个性等等。既体现了谦逊好学的美德，又正面回答了这一难题。心理研究表明，人际交往存在三种状态，一种是权西式、一种是理智式、一种是冲动式。在面试中更需要理智式的交往，而理智来自于充分准备，深思熟虑，而不是幼稚冲动。
一个人有缺点并不可怕，可怕的是不敢承认它、改正它，反而强词夺理。从辩证的角度看，缺点与优点是相互转化的，前提是正确地认识缺点，实实在在地改正缺点。“横看成岭侧成峰”，对缺点本身来讲，有

第一，自我介绍时，切忌“自吹自擂”要“有的放矢”。自我介绍是一种说服的艺术，聪明的应试者会以招考单位的工作要求与测试重点组织自我介绍的内容，不仅仅要告诉考官们你是多么优秀的人，更要告诉考官，你如何适合应聘的工作岗位，针对岗位“有的放矢”，而与面试无关的内容，即使是你引以为荣的优点和长处，你也要忍痛舍弃，切忌“自吹自擂”。
第二，自我介绍时，切忌用“我”这个字眼。自我介绍过程中，很多考生习惯性地这样介绍自己：“我叫某某，毕业于某校某系。我的特长是?;我的爱好是?;我的?，一连串的“我”说着说着，你就会发现考官的脸色越来越难看。通常以“我”为开端的叙述，会给人留下自私自利的印象，很容易让人感觉你像自以为是的自我中心者。很好的解决办法是把“我”字开头的话题，转为“你”字开头，如“你想了解我的个人爱好，还是与工作有关的问题?”“您说呢?”，“你认为怎么样?”等等。
