一．教材分析
本册教材共有6个单元，1个复习单元，内容涉及：winter holiday,good behaviour,country life,plan for the summer等语法知识，本学期将继续学习一般过去时态，同时对一般现在时和一般将来时进行深化学习。教材紧扣学生的学习、生活，能够引起学生的共鸣激发学生的学习热情，
二．学情分析
五年级的学生经过两年半的英语学习，知识结构已经建立，课堂教学中能够根据老师的要求完成教学任务，学习积极性比较强。但是个别待进生对英语学习缺乏兴趣，本学期应加强对待进生的辅导，使它们的英语成绩能够再上一个台阶。

四．教学重难点
教学重点：词汇的熟练认读，句型的熟练运用。三种时态的区分及运用。
教学难点：三种时态的区分及运用。
五.教学中应注意的问题
1 因材施教，注重学生在学习过程中的学习体验。
2 在教学过程中，注重教材的使用开发。
六教学具体措施
1、认真备课，钻研教材，进行课堂的有效教学，提高课堂效率，做到当堂内容当堂掌握。
2、创新运用各种不同英语教学法来辅助教学，如：情景教学法、直接教学法和TPR全身反应法，并开展一些有趣的活动、游戏让学生在轻松的氛围中学习英语。
3、创设英语情景和环境，使学生们在一定的英语语言环境里习得“第二语言”，做到“生活中有英语，英语中有生活”。
4、鼓励学生大胆说英语，肯定他们的进步（尤其是英语基础不好的学生），树立学生的信心，培养学生朗读和书写的习惯。
七．课时安排
本学期20周，每周2课时，每一单元4课时，六单元共计24课时，复习单元3课时，其余时间为练习反馈时间。
